Re: Procharger making some power

It doesn't count unless you can do it on street tires j/k

That's one heck of a run! Now just to clarify, that's the 1/8mile right??

Re: Procharger making some power

yes, that is 1/8th mile and they do may DOT tires for this car. guys use them in the big dog races where you must run "street tires". a couple of guys in the Quick 8 Outlaws actually prefer them over the slicks.

did you here that siren sound in the video? that was actually some kid crying after we scared the crap outta him. LOL.

It's gotta be in the 6s... 170traps @ the 1/8!? People trap 175s to be in the 7s and he's already there at the 1/8!! That's sick!!

Do the math that comes out to be a 6.76 pass in the 1/4

Re: Procharger making some power

thanks guys.
not sure what the 1/4 time would be probably 6.60-6.70 range. keeping in mind the geering is all for 1/8th mile.
the motor is 588 c.i. bbc
the motor was built by Proline and tuned by Steve Petty.
we fabbed up all the brackets, tubing, intercooler, throttle body, and ice box ourselves.
Procharger of course supplied us an F3A originally which made around 23# boost. the F3R seems to give us a couple more pounds.
we are supposed to be getting a prototype model this week. hopefully we'll be posting even better results.
