Cool procharger

Whats up. I just had a couple of questions about pulleys. Within the next month i will be purchasing a procharger d-1sc system. For the time being I wanna run 7-8lbs. Which will probably put me up around 500h.p. right? I already have a cam and headers an upgraded drivetrain. But my real question is Im savin to rebuild my motor. But im not goin all out im just goin to do forged pistons and forged rods. Then I wanna purchase a different size pulley to run around 18-20lbs. Where do I get a different pulley? What size would it be? Also would I have to do anything different to my motor? (besides small stuff like fuel pumps and tuning) Thanks for the input.

What car/engine do you have? If an LS1, 18-20 psi is alot of boost...especially for a D1SC! You can order pulleys from ATI. Corresponding boost levels to pulley sizes is a factor of engine flow capabilities (to include intercooler and exhaust restrictions), cam bleed-off characteristics, and displacement. To get that much boost out of a high flowing engine w/blower cam, you'll probably need a 12-rib drive conversion and a larger blower (i.e., F1x).

Re: procharger

it is an LS1 but for the time being i only wanna run 7-8lbs. but I wanna rebuild in a lil bit an run 18-20lbs. my buddy has a d-1sc an he runs 19lbs on c16 race gas with just srp pistons and rods. so that was my goal to run just pistons an rods and all the necessary items to run high boost levels.
