784.257 Rwhp

Seriously over 1000 Rwhp. More than you will ever need/want.

I think Jose's customer made ~1015 rwhp. . . maybe even a ported LT1 intake. I do believe, however, that single plane is better (Victor Jr. style).

Nice Power, was that wheel power or was that at the flywheel? Also, fill us in on you engine/blower combination, it sounds like it is working really well.

The next thing to limit you from making more power probably wont be the intake manifold.

that 837 was at the tires throw and th400 and a 9 inch. The motor is just a 355 lt1 with afr 210s lt4, comp port, solid rool cam, a pair of 60-1, fast 85lbs injectors with an air to air. The swaping over to an air to water in the next few weeks.

Those are some really nice numbers! I am getting things together for a 357 ci LT1 and your combo is going to be pretty close to mine except I am going with an F1 Procharger (I can't afford to go the turbo route ). I have AFR 210's bare right now and will be having them ported this summer. I am hoping to 650+ at the wheels.

Instead of starting another thread, I figured I'd continue with where this one left off.

Assuming that the LT4 intake is flowing sufficient air for really high horsepower in a boosted application, what other type of problems arise when making it with one? I've read that the rear two cylinders can tend to run leaner than others. How much leaner?

At what point is a person better off to switch to a Victor style or sheetmetal intake?

the rear cylenders run richer not leaner cuz they cant get enough air with the crappy intake design. The only other problem i see is you have to run more boost to make the power you would with better heads/intake therefor you putting an engine at more stress getting to 900rwhp with smaller heads and intake then you would with a better top end set up.

Well, that doesn't jive with what's in this thread here: http://web.camaross.com/forums/showthread.php?t=219874

Others seem to think it's opposite of what you're saying.

I haven't noticed much difference between any of my my plugs. I really don't think its enough to worry about no more than the difference in injector flow at any given point. I beat the hell out of my turd and all the pistons looked like new last time it was apart. To be honest I'm more worried about emptying my stock fuel rails with my 95# injectors damn near maxed out

I know you can make great power with a ported stocker. it is a little easier with a single plain or sheetmetal but it doesn't matter as much as you think it might in boosted apps.

My 2 rear plugs were always darker 7/8, dont remember his name but theres a turbo lt1 that just went 8s and was having the same issue.
I cracked 2 pistons, they were 3/5 not 7/8.
I guess we'll see what difference a much bigger head/Intake/TB will make as i'm in the process of doing 227 heads/single plain/solid roller set up with the same buttom end well add 2cid
