plug changes

I'm building a stroker w/ vortech and am curious how often you guy's change your plugs?? Biggest reason I ask is I"m running SLP shorties now and access is just horrible, I'm considering switching to longtubes to save some skin over the years. Any feedback is appreciated...

Re: plug changes

I rarely change mine because I don't drive the car that often... Every 10k miles at a minimum though (that's about every 2 years for me).

When I was having tuning problems and fouling out plugs while trying to fix the tune, I was quite upset with #6 and #8 with jet-hot long tubes. 1, 3, 5, 7, 2, & 4 were 20 minutes for all of them. #6 & #8 together took 40 minutes to an hour every time with my fat fingers and the tube design back there. Hooker has the same design.

And if anyone has advice on those two, I'll take it.

Re: plug changes

Takes two seconds to drop the starter and get them from the bottom..
