Orderd the ATI Prep Questions!

Ordered the ati procharger going to be boosting 8 psi. Do you all think I need to get it dyno tuned?

Also what kinda plugs are the best to run?

Maybe this post shoulda been posted in the forced induction forum but it seems lt1 gets more hits. Thanks for the info.

This forum is a little more popular than the Forced Induction forum (not as many forced induction f-bods as regular ones ).

I'll move this over to that forum... we need to try to keep the topics in the proper forums. Thanks!

Yeah, you will want to have it dyno tuned. A better idea is to ditch the FMU and have the car tuned with larger injectors.

As far as plugs go, either NGK TR6s or Autolite 104s.

Have you started planning for your rebuild yet?

The autolites are a c/h shorter and will give a little more header clearance.

I run 103's.

Gap them at 0.035

You should have it tuned... Especially if you are going to ditch the FMU. Don't run the stock injectors with taht FMU either, they tend to lock up at fuel pressure greater than 80 PSI.

Also, get yourself an MSD BTM and put in a few degrees of knock retard per pound of boost.. Keep yourself out of detonation..

You also may want to buy a Scanmaster to monitor your 02 readings and Knock.

The P1SC kit should include the following:
- Head Unit
-Blower Bracket
-Intercooler and piping
-clamps
-bypass valve

If you do a search you will find alot of useful info on the things you will need to buy additionally.

Yes it comes with everything including a rubber elbow to replace your Trick FLow elbow. IMO I would keep the Trick Flow elbow and ditch the rubber one the comes with the ATI kit.

If you got the twin high flow intercooler than the answer is "no". If you got the 2-core or 3-core intercooler than the answer is "yes".
