OK guys, school me IAT, boost, O2
OK guys, school me IAT, boost, O2
Just did a little test and log on my motor..showing 16.3 psi on the map sensor...
IAT........O2 reading......Boost......Timing
110..........806...............0.............35
158.........777-.798........16.3..........18**
So under boost I am gaining around 50 deg temp..
My IAT sensor is on the y-pipe just in front of the TB, timing is being retarded via MSD6BTM, so that is an approx (actual log was 34, minus 16 for the 1 lbs/boost I have it set at**)
I am not up to date on the O2 numbers, what does that equate to? My in dash A/F gauge stays towards the rich side under power.. still need to hook up a wideband and see what is up.
Driveability is good, goes from -10 vac to +15 boost just about as quick as I can hit the throttle, while cruising about 45-50...
Thoughts?

Don't put any faith in the narrow-band O2 readings.
The IAT's look good, but I don't think the sensor is very accurate at the higher temps either.
