Oil cooler on vortech? worth it?

Just ordered a FMIC.. thinking of switching to turbo but im still not sure. but the FMIC will be used reguardless.. but I have an old tranny cooler from my auto car laying around.. I was thinking of maybe adding it just before the vortech to cool it off a bit. What do you guys think?

The vortech is pulling oil from the pan so oil cooler would be benifical to both engine and blower anyway. The cooler you can keep the oil the longer the bearings in the blower and engine will stay happy. On the other hand you have a FMIC and I'm not sure if you have a A4 with cooler(or M6) already. Not too sure how much good it's going to do you as far as pulling down the temps of the oil. Suppose it would all depend on the location I guess.

P.S. Not to steal your thread or anything but did I see your car run against a 03-04 cobra on svtperformance.com? Just the description of your motor matches the description on the thread. Hehe your current combo sounds very similar to my new combo only difference is I have a small s-trim.
