Question new procharger question

I am wondering if i can run my P1SC with 42# injectors and a stock tune on a 97 lt1 without the fmu. I am going to get a tune but not for a little while. i live at high elevation so i am expecting low boost around 5psi. I will have a f/p guage, boost guage and an A/F ratio guage and a walboro intank 255lph pump I may put an alky/water injecton system on also. can any one help me ?

also is there anything i should look for i am buying a used P1SC?

thanks

You'll atleast need LT1 Edit or Tunercat to make changes for the injectors. I'm sure someone here will have a similar setup with a file you can use to get you started. Your a/f guage will be pretty much useless... get a tune with a wideband O2.

Yeah.. as said above you will need to change the programming for the bigger injectors (much preferred). If you can't do that it then you will have to use the FMU and stock injectors. Just be sure to ask if it comes with everything that came in the kit. I got a used one 2 years ago and it worked out great... still going strong.

Send me an "E" mail at mrahn@timberland.com as I've got a program that should work for you.

My setup was stock block/heads/cam w/ 8# Pro Charger (I also used this program when I was running a 7# pulley), headers, flowmaster exhaust, stock t/b 42# injectors, maf ends and no FMU.

The program is for an A4.

For peace of mind, you can send the head unit back to ATI for a refresh/checkup. As long as nothing is wrong, they only charge $75
