You could and I have.

There is nothing wrong with the OPs numbers,,, but nothing to justify a stab at lt1s.

Ill take 600# at 3k rpms for a street car any day over 550 at 5.5

maybe i should add some nitrous to show you guys the numbers on that. since thats the only way i can see an lt1 putting out that much tq at such a low rpm.

Nice #'s! I assume you were joking about the lt1 comment. Peak tq @3000rpm is low and tough to do without juice, but 4k is doable.

I haven't run nitrous in quite a while.

Granted I dont have any graphs yet, I have no problems making 10psi by 2k.... so I bet I can get it to peak by 3.

Cool

eastoaklandss, my LT1 is proving better than your LS1 according to my calculations...

on 7psi my LT1 makes 570rwhp SAE Corrected (dynoed today). 570 + 15% = 655hp engine. Base is ~450hp.
On 14psi it should make 2x 450hp = 900hp - 15% = 765rwhp calc.

To make that clear... LT1 = 765rwhp vs LS1 = 680rwhp.

Had the car for 10yrs, $20K total investment including tires and oil.
$ for $ the LT1 smokes your LS1's ***. I'm playing friendly by the way, please excuse my competiveness.

I just went to dyno today havent figured out how to post my graph.

True, but your also running a stroker where as he's not. I'd also be willing to bet that you won't pick up another 195rwhp with 7 more psi. Not ******* here, but slap a pulley on that thing and bring back some more numbers....
