New Best

went to an open pro-mod race in darlington saturday. we set our new best ET going a 4.280 @ 170.26 mph. Procharger F-3R on a 588 c.i. Pro-line racing engines (Steve Petty).
qualified 10th in a field in which Mauney,Tutterow, Summers, Lyman, and Tindall failed to qualify. keep in mind we are also running through a powerglide transmission. i'm very proud of our team for the extreme effort put into the car this season.

your not kidding. it's making 30# of boost so far. we started with the F3-A and it was good for a 4.34 pass and seemed to make boost quicker but leveled off at around 23#. this one steady makes boost. the guys at Procharger seemed pleased with this one as well.

it's definitely a rush. a week prior to this event we shattered a rearend housing so we decided to try a different gear. in doing so we needed to change the four link adjustment. we went the wrong way with it and when i left the line the front end came up and carried so far when i finally could see the track again i looked for the 1/8th mile cones i didn't see them so i pulled the chutes. now that was a ride!!
