I put my trans cooler in front of my radiator onto the condensor. It helped a lot! I want to say it dropped the trans temp about 20 degrees in the summer. It's been awhile, so I can't fully remember.

Do you have an electric water pump? I've heard that if you do, you should remove the thermostat as it cools better that way. I haven't checked that info out yet, and was going to look into that before I put my motor back together. Maybe someone here has some knowledge regarding that?

Its a delco water pump. Not an electric one.The trans cooler spot you have it in looks like it works great.Any ideas for an oil cooler?
