Re: need help

Going to really depend on what pistons/heads you used and how much power you're looking to make.

Re: need help

You'll obviously want to use some good quality parts at that level. JE, Callies, Oliver, ARP, that level of stuff. 9:1 with good heads and a all the supporting mods with a PT88 would be a good start. Jon at LT1 Boost can build the turbo kit if you don't have one yet.

I'd probably start with a fresher block personally. 60 over is going to run hot which isn't a good start for a FI build.

Re: need help

Yeah, get a block with a stock bore and pay to have it sonic checked to ensure that you have good cylinder wall thickness and checked for cracks before before you do anything, then bore it 30 or less and go from there. It's not cheap what you're talking about doing, so you might want to sell grandma to the Huns for a little extra cash. 800 at the flywheel isn't hard for a turbo engine, but the rest of the stuff in your car will be inadequate - drive train, fuel system, ignition, suspension, maybe cooling system (brakes!).

Re: need help

Alternatively you could shove a stock 5.3 or 6.0 LSx in it with a big turbo. lol
