Exclamation Need Blower Info

I need any and all info on the procharger 8psi 600b kit. Past experience, ability to mod, dependabillity, everything. I am looking at this one because of price. I may buy the one with the P1 head unit instead. So any helpful info on that one would be great too. Thanks in advance.

Re: Need Blower Info

For a bolt on or lightly modded engine a P600B works great. If you get the P1SC you won't have to drill an oil hole in your pan and run oil lines. The D1SC is for modded engines with cams that require more cfm. The install is similar on all three types.

I'm thinking of rebuilding my P1SC into a D1SC. I think the only difference is the impeller.

I am going to be similar to you as far as set up. I'll have 224/230 112lsa cc503 with 1.6 rr LE1 heads and bolt-ons. 10.5:1 also. It looks like the p1 is the way to go. What Numbers has your combo put down?

Re: Need Blower Info

Don't know the numbers on my car yet. But it makes big torque from 3000 all the way up to 6400. I'm still chasing down a few bugs before I take it to the dyno. I can step on the throttle in 3rd gear and 50 mph and it'll brake the tires loose. I'm real happy with my 500hp daily driver. I have 9.0 to 1 compression. I just torched an RX? the other day and he pulled me over to the gas station to see what I had. Priceless.

Oh and by the way there is nothing like the sound of a blown lt1 screaming through long tubes.

Oh yes! I can't wait to finish my setup now. Thanks a lot. I hope you get all of your bugs worked out.

The P600b can put you well over 400RWHP with a stock cam. It just depends what your goal is. My P600b has been very reliable. Not one bit of trouble with it.
