need a better maf for turbo? other costs

im still calculating my costs for a turbo set-up i want, and just need to know if a stock maf set-up will handle 500+hp (crank)? i am narrowed down to a sts turbo kit (any feedback?) or a ceramic ball bearing twin turbo. i have my tranny rebuild kit lined up. ditto on the 12 bolt rear. anything else im missing? steel drive shaft? thanx to all for the links for the parts btw.

Bigger injectors and a good tune are helpful. Also, get ready to rebuild the motor soon cause you will more than likely pop it. Oh, do a search on STS and see what you come up with, lots of discussion on the topic.

Not yet, but I've been driving it like it could go at any moment, plus I'm running a very rich tune and I'm only on 7 lbs of boost. Either way, it's only a matter of time. I'm just saying (and most people will agree) if you're going to go FI, be prepared to pop a motor or two.
