NA vs Boosted 383

Okay, a stocker LT1 has a 10.4:1 Compression ratio. From what I can deduce, my Compression ratio does not meet NA until about 2# of boost, which doesn't occur until about 2300 RPM. Since I am also losing some power by spooling up the blower, it takes a measurable amount of time to recapture lost ground to a high-compression engine. Of course, once boost comes up, the greater compression will generate more than ample power to overcome any generational losses and additional weight of the supercharger.

Since I went to a 383, my 8# P1SC has been reduced by ~9%, reducing max output to ~7.3# ((350/383)*8). Also, with my low-compression pistons, reducing my compression ratio to about 9.0:1, I found this formula that shows what my realtime CR really is. (((boost PSI/14.7)+1)*CompRatio)

Boost: 0......1......2......3......4......5......6......7 ......7.311

CR: 9.0 9.6 10.224 10.837 11.449 12.061 12.673 13.286 13.476
