N20 for cooling?

I was thinking about putting a nozzle just before the intercooler on my LT1(stock) to help with heat soak before a run. If I suspect the cooler is a victim of heat soak, a small shot should do the trick right? I mean in the neigborhood of 35 hp. I can see hp losses on a hot day equating to 35 hp compared to the same car on a cold day so I figured a small shot of gas would be alright.

Any ideas?

It would work alot better if you put the nitrous on the INSIDE of the intercooler.

I meant upstream, not on the outside. So I am assuming that I would have nothing to worry about.
