My PTK setup is almost done...update for those who care
Well I'm almost done with the car. I have the fuel system left to wire in, the front brakes to route the new lines, and have to put the intake manifold back on. Its taken a long time for this project, most of the time it was my fault ....lazy..hehe, the rest of it was waiting on parts to arrive. For those that don't remember my setup, well its a race/custom version of PTK's LT1 street kit.
383 , 8.5cr, Eagle H-beams, Eagle Forged crank, custom JE's, Fully ported LT4 AFR's ~215-220cc, fully ported LT4 intake, FAST BTB system, 72lbs injectors, Turbo cam 230/230 thanks to Seth at combination motorsports,
1 3/4" headers
2.5" crossover
All 3" intake piping
4" turbo inlet pipe
3" DP which is temporary till PTE sends my new exhaust housing, then the 4" DP goes in.
EGT probes on #3, 5, 7, 2, and #8 cylinders
Water to air IC, not the same from the PTK LT1 street kit, this one is quite a bit larger, basically using the Mustang core
Tial Wastegate
Tial Blowoff and HKS SSQV will be added
PTE-88, .96 A/R...yadda...yadda.
Its been 2 years since I've been behind the wheel of the car, I'm dying to just drive it around the block...don't really care if it makes 1 psi of boost. I'm sure you guys that have done build-ups know how it feels...anyhow, just thought I would share. Hope to have some sound clips, and maybe even a dyno sheet with low boost up soon... Anyhow..just felt like rambling, since I now see a light at the end of the tunnel...hehe

hehe, I hope to have all of the above soon. Not sure about the track times, cause I really don't feel like breaking the car just yet. Want to drive around for a little while first.

96 WS6, yeah it will be fun with the 88, but the car was stroked before and ran low 11's N/A, so it was no slouch before the turbo.
Fast Caddie will you settle for a 5-6psi in car vid once its done?...lol
Jim, its a small frame PTE-88. I'm hoping to work in a mid-frame 90mm later. The exhaust side is the same size, but the compressor is about 30% larger, so the radiator will have to be pushed forward to clear, and a the use of a smaller diameter crank pulley will have to be used.
CJ, they are pretty darn nice, and are fully coated. Plug access is not bad at all, only cyl .#1 was a pain, but once you remove the coil and wrap you arm under, its no biggie.

Here is a picture showing the difference between a PT76 with a PTE88
