Angry Re: My experience with ProTurbo.

I wish I had that luck. They charged me the full amount of almost $6k when I placed my order on January 31st, and my turbo system STILL hasn't all come in! That is the only thing holding up my car from being done. I just received the final pieces of the kit MINUS the head unit. I definitely wont be getting the head unit until at least next month from what I told.

That's right folks, it will be OVER 7 months for my turbo system to be complete. I have been so patient up to this point, but I've about had it. I understand they say it's a problem with supplier, but I should of already had the head unit a LONG time ago!

Sorry for the vent, but it isn't fun to see everyone else getting their stuff on time while I've already paid for my kit in full.

I can tell you this: I have a T76 on a 388 and a Tial 40 mm wastegate. When I totally remove the wastegate spring, the boost starts out at 12 psi and creeps up to 18.

What's even more insane is that when I talk to them, they tell me that when the head units come in, they have a couple people AHEAD of me!!!

Re: My experience with ProTurbo.

Damn..thats why id never buy a headunit from a dealer..its not their fault trust me..this guy had to wait 3 months for 2 t-88s for his mustang(outlaw) that sucked. Those suckers are huge though. Im gonna buy my headunit used or new from someone who has it already.

Re: My experience with ProTurbo.

The 38mm gate will work just fine for your setup as jose said.. I had originally spoke to dalton when I first ordered my kit and he said that although there is alot of controversy behind the idea of bigger is better when talking waste gates that its not always the case. I guess they have seen around 1,000 or so hp with a 38mm so I would say its pretty safe t say you'll be A OK!

Making alot of power with my 40mm is not a problem. I run into problems when I want to make less power.
