Maxed Maf?

Is there an upper limit value you can put in the PE table? My MAF maxes out about 4800rpm and I gradually increase the PE above that.. seems like I have about 30% in there now at 6000. Just wondering how high of a number you could actually put in there.

Not sure what the max # you can put in the PE tables is, but, it's my understanding that your MAF isn't even used when you're in Power Enrichment mode..

49.6 is the largest value you can enter (a function of the scaling factor the pcm uses). You can get around this by then increasing the coolant PE table to offset your entire curve and bring you back "in range".

The MAF is definitely used in WOT/PE mode - the PE table enriches the target a/f ratio, but the reading from the maf is used for base fueling to reach the target a/f ratio.

Now if you have a blower car you can easily max out the maf and then it really isn't doing much - but it is still used, you are just out of the calibration/input window.

I'm going to put a higher value in there. I just didn't know if you accept a value that high or the computer would ignore it.

Thanks!
