max psi?

I am contemplating dropping an STS turbo on my Z...MAYBE...have not decided yet.

I have a 355 with forged pistons...stock rods...stock crank...and LE3 heads...and LE3 cam...i estimate about 10.6cr....what would the most boost i could run safely be? if recommended at all? i realize this motor is not setup for it...but i would like to have the option to add a small amount of boost later on...i was thinking something like 9-10psi....enough to get me over the 500hp mark...i am looking at around 400rwhp right now...

Any ideas?

Thanks.

That compression will limit you on how high of boost you can run. 10psi is doable though. Remember to have a good tune and fuel

I have run 8 psi on the stock bottom end. But it has to be intercooled. On a forged bottom end, I would agree that 9-10 should be doable.

8psi is possible and will surely get you that 500 HP. You may want to swap a different cam in place of that LE3.
