LT1 Supercharger Options

I've been looking a lot more lately on the supercharger market for my LT1, but I am going to ask for some advice. I noticed vortech discontinued their LT1 supercharger kit, so that threw that out the window for me. I've got a mostly stock LT1, and other than intake and exhaust, it's un-molested. What I'm looking for is a nice, mild supercharger with around the 400-450 HP range and intercooled. I am looking for a supercharger with a good whine to it, to let not only myself but other know that my Camaro isn't a regular. Any suggestions?

Call Vortech with a valid credit card number and you can probably get one for an LT1 fairly easily. Or check with some of the sponsors, I'm sure they have a kit or two in their store rooms.

Aren't the Vortech superchargers quiet, he wants that whine and I don't blame it.

Oh sure!!! Now that I've already ordered the exact same system though the shop, someone puts one up for sale.

Oh, apparently nobody told you that you have to rebuild your engine too. Did you install the Forged dish pistons? You didn't...well you will soon enough.

I ran my car on 8#s for 3-4 years with a p600b put almost 25K on the car with out one issue. Its all in the tune and using judgement on when to beat on the car. No matter how good the tune is if its 100+ and the car is hot as hell you are gonna hurt something if you beat on it built motor or not.

Tempting would depend on a lot. U can round up a used d1sc kit pretty cheap.

Problem is most your gunna find are ls1 kits...
