Lt1 PTK Gen 2 progress....

Whats up guys? Just wanted to share some info & pictures of my current turbo project. It is a 94 TA with a stock bottom end, and I am bolting on a T70 turbo. The exhaust kit is from Pro Turbo and I must say after the 6 month wait it is quality stuff. I am still waiting on some parts....Jose please help!!!..... but the car is coming along nicely. The headers bolted up PERFECT and dropped in from the top with no motor mount tom-foolery. I hope to have it running soon....
then blow it up......and then forge the motor . Tell me what you guys think.

Please work.....hehe

Damn I need to get you the oil lines asap. I get wrapped up here with the dang phones, and end up not hassling Dalton...hehe. I will see what I can get you by this weekend. Also I will be in ATL this weekend for the Ford shootout, so I may give you a ring.

Nice quality stuff. It almost makes me wish I'd waited for PTK to get their act together so I hadn't had to build my own.

Re: Lt1 PTK Gen 2 progress....

Hello again, yesterday we accomplished a good bit on the install. The steering arm was hitting primary #3 so I had to take a hammer to my new headers...
After that we installed the crossover pipe which went well but the pipe that goes through the k-member from the crossover needed modification (ie hammer). Then we installed the pipe with the turbo flange and now I have a t70 hanging off the front!!!! Clearance and install wasn't that bad but I have yet to do the downpipe. More to come.... later

Re: Lt1 PTK Gen 2 progress....

I was talking to Dalton and we need to get some pics of the clearence problem. Its strange, all the other Gen 2 kits we have sold we have not had any clearence problems to date. With the Gen 1 we only had one clearence problem and that was the first kit which was on my personal car since I was the first car. We have had this issue before on 2 or 3 mustangs, but it was due to sagging motor mounts. Get me some pics and see if we can look at doing some changes.

Re: Lt1 PTK Gen 2 progress....

Sup guys & gals, I finally installed all the hot side. I started the car for about 15 seconds to hear the new turbo exhaust.... I filmed some video and took some new pics but I can't host video.

Progress 4/24/05

I would of started it and warmed it up but I still have no F'in oil lines...or radiator fans.
Anyone know a fan setup that is ~2 in deep?

I should have the cold side done as soon as I get the fans taken care of this week. More to come.....i can't wait hehe

97z28/m6- The gen 1 kit was totally different design. Try forcedinductions.com for some pictures of the first gen kit.
