Lt1 blower pistons.

I have a 94 camaro that i'm building a 383 to run a procharger on. The botom end consists of a Callies dragonslayer crank, compstar rods, an diamond pistons.
I want to be able to run atleast 20 or more lbs of boost maybe lower.
My ?? is what size dish pistons are you guys using to get such low compression? I have -16cc Diamond pistons now, would that be low enough to run that kind of boost?

Heres my specs on the motor:

Head volume: 52.5cc
piston top: -16cc
cylinder bore: 4.0300
crankshaft stroke: 3.750
deck height: .034
gasket thickness: ???

Thanks guys!

I have -30cc Lunati custom pistons in my 383 and -24cc SRP pistons in my 355. Both with 62cc trickflow heads and .040" gaskets are 8.6-8.7 to 1.

JE makes an off the shelf -31cc blower piston (D-shaped dish). I believe Diamond makes a -31cc also (but a full dish). Anything else will probably be custom.

I have 31 cc dished JE's in mine that takes you to 9.0:1 with 54 CC chambers, I dont see you running 20 lbs of boost on LT1 head castings. Im planning on running 15 with mine and thats about the most, most people have problems keeping head gaskets in a motor over 15 anyway with out going to O rings, I heard of some people having luck with cometic gaskets but never used them.

R9903-030 Speed Pro Rings
L2441F-030 Speed Pro Pistons

These are .030 over for a 355.
