Looking at a used vortech, how do I tell if it is a T-trim or an S-trim?
Looking at a used vortech, how do I tell if it is a T-trim or an S-trim?
Will it say on it? I am assuming not since the current owner doesn't know.
Says he bought it used and now he needs $$$ for other things. He is sending me the serial numbers off the head unit. That should do it right?
On a side note, what is an average price for a used S or T-trim that is missing some things? (fuel pump, lower supercharger bracket??, coil relocation bracket, tb elbow, and misc. bolts and wiring)
I was going to offer $1000 and before I could do that, he came back with $1400. I'd think a T is worth a little more than an S so I guess I need to find that out for sure too.
TIA

It should be marked, if nothing else, the serial numbers should tell the truth. Oh, the impeller opening on an Strim is 3.5", my T trim is 3.75".

i would not pay $1400 for the head unit... $1000 yes,the extra $400bucks can go towards you having to buy all the install parts and other mods like injectors and stuff.
