LE2 with an ati procharger??
Alright guys heres my dilema, I just recently finished my engine rebuild top to bottom with the le2 heads and cam package. Everything has been beefed up, and i rebuilt the tranny yesturday lol. My question is can i throw a procharger on there i expect i have to do a few more things but i was wondering if its possible and if itll work right thanks-jim

If you want to run a SC, you'll want your compression ratio from 8.0:1 to 9.5:1 for pump gas, all depending on how much boost you want to run. This is usually done by changing pistons. The LE2 heads will work fine. If your cam is for a NA application, you will need to switch cams to get the max benefit from the blower.

Well, the guys here might wasnt a little more info on your setup. Like, what type of pistons do you have or is it a stock short block? If so, I'm sure the heads were milled so what is your compression ratio? If the compression ratio is too high, it will not work well with a supercharger and may be better suited for a shot of nitrous. Also, the cam that Lloyd uses on his LE2 setup may not be very comatible with a blower setup. I don't know that much about his cam specs (and he keeps them quiet) but it is probably on a 112 LSA and you would probably need at least a 114 LSA cam that is designed for boost.

Or so we think, I say put the cam in, what ever it is..... and see what she does. Im really interested to see what kind of power your car will put down or better yet what kind of time your run.. But like what was said above we need more info on your setup.
