Just dyno tuned the car with new SC

Just got done tuning my car on the dyno - took 9 pulls because of various problems. I have the TR6's gapped too far at .037" - they should be .026-.028" from what i'm told now - this was causing the spark to get blown out on all the runs. Tough to explain but if you saw my dyno sheets you'd see the 'stutters' in it.

Thanks to Jayme at lsracingchips.com for spending the time working this thing out. I wish I had the right gap on my plugs tho.

Most it made was 461.2/476.?

Continued to tune a bit more A/F and finished with 431.1/475.0

This is on 7lbs of boost - stock block - stock heads.

Can you say KABOOM is in my future

The rear is going to go - the shortblock is going to go - the trans won't last long and the wife wants a new kitchen with Coryean countertops

May not get to run next year - I really was looking forward to hitting the GMHTP shootout with QA1's and a 9" rear. Not sure that will happen now.

Oh well. We'll see what it runs this Sunday - assuming I can get it to somewhat hook.

Jeff - you don't want to know the price, remember, the owner of the dyno is a buddy of mine

Mods are in sig for me - basically stock short block, stock untouched heads, all bolt ons and a small blower cam.

As far as the gap - i'm still not sure on that. It seems I may have some ignition woes to chase down. Gonna try a new coil, wires and plugs and see what happens.
