Just broke 600 whp barrier!

Just got the F1A put on in place of the D1SC that EXPLODED a while ago. Mods in sig, but the F1A is making 13 psi on my 355. What do you guys think?

I think I would probably not have long to live if I had a car with a power curve like that.

That's sweet man. Did you notice the difference between the 2 blowers? How far are you going to push it?

What's your pulley combination as I'm sure you can develop a whole lot more boost than that as you probably know. Those are impressive numbers for 13 lbs. of boost. Congratulations!!!

hey those are pretty impressive #'s. i dont want to steel your thread but i have just a few questions. as you can see in my sig, we have a similar set up. so first off, what size injectors are you using? and a single 255lph pump is enough? also, i just bought a 12 bolt rear with 4:11's in it and i was going to change over to 3:73's. how do you feel about your gears? do you have any 1/4 mile times with them?
sorry about the questions, just nice to see someone with a similar setup posting #'s. thanks

I had to go a different route on the fueling due to the obd1 speed density programming I have, and I am at 5600 feet above sea level. That being said, Im running a Walbro 255 in-tank pump, vortech inline booster pump, Cartech FMU, 42#/hr injectors and Tuner Kat tuning. This setup would not supply enough fuel if I were at sea level. You will likely want to jump up to maybe a 60# injector, but there are guys on here that can better help you in that area.

I dont have any 1/4 times, but will when the season opens.. I'm living at 5600 feet above sea level, so im hoping for low 11's on a 28" tall m/t et street radial. The 4.11 gears are extremely steep. My 1st gear ratio is steeper than most other t56's, but I can only get to about 30 mph in first gear. It does accerate extremely fast, but I think the guys who are the happiest with them are the guys running a taller tire for the strip. I will likely switch to a 3.73 at some point to get more MPH out of 4th gear on the top end.

I am running a 4.00/7.65 12 rib pulley combo. I only see 13 psi from it because I'm a mile higher that most on here. On a 355 at sea level, that combo would be good for 16+ psi on a smaller engine. I want to keep the HP right where its at for now untill I have enough money to splay the block (when I graduate with a bachelors in the next year)

No track times yet, but at 5600 feet above sea level, it should run in the low 11's with stickies

Congrats on the numbers!! I do think they seem a little low though for the combo. I would expect closer to 700rwhp with that blower and a manual tranny.

How was the A/F and timing?

We are running it a little bit richer and a little more conservative on the timing b/c its a 2 bolt main still and many would say i'm pushing it pretty hard allready. A/F ratio is mostly 11.5:1, 12.0:1 at 6000 rpm. I will post a dyno graph of the A/F ratio once I get home

Not to mention it put down 623 rwhp after about 8 consecutive dyno runs so the motor/twin highflow intercoolers were hot. If we had been able to get the tune pinned down earlier in the day we would have had more time to let it cool some. It would likely put down 650 + rwhp on a non-heatsoaked engine.

His car is a '93, which didn't have MAF sensors. Anyways, sick car
