Talking Joining the Turbo club!!

Well I finally decided on a FI set up. And that was a front mount T76, all tubular hot side parts, FMIC and the works

I cant wait to finish the bottom end now and actually bolt it all up.

But I do have a question about my rear end. I bought a 12-bolt with 3.73s, is this ideal for a T76 with a .96ar? I am worried about turbo lag with such a high ar so the 3.73s sound ok, but I see a few posts suggesting 3.42s to be better.

Nice! I would go 3.42's, but since you already have 3.73's, might as well keep them and try it out.

Are you building your own turbo kit?

Its actually a kit that was manufactured. not sure who built it but the build quality is very nice and the welds are great. The headers have a name plaque on them but I had not bothered to read it yet

And of course a turbonetics T76 BOV,waste gate, FMIC etc.

Sounds good. Did you buy it used?

Yeah everything has 4-5k miles on it. The turbo still looks brand new, not even small chips on the impellers. The BOV wastegate and such are still NIB. It only has a 3" downpipe but I assume that will be good enough for 650rwhp mark that I want.

It is actually very similiar to your header kit by design, although my headers come out in a different spot.

Nice kits btw, I was almost ready to buy one off a guy brand new until I found a complete hotside kit and turbo for a good price.

Cool. I know one or two of my kits are floating around, was interested to see if this was one of them. Have any pics of your kit?
