Joined the boosted camp finally.

I had been wanting to go boosted for some time...but I just never really found what I was looking for, basically just keeping an eye for a great deal and for something that would give me what I wanted.

I bought INTMD8's old setup that in the 2009 season I will get going. For the 2008 season I will be attempting to get the car into the deep 10's on motor and while I am at it, I will learn the software and learn the car since I have replaced all suspension parts.

I will be using a little more aggressive cam than his combo, I have more cubes and it will be in a TH400 t-brake setup. I am setting a goal of 800 rwhp via a TH400 & 9".....which if it hits that number it will make for a quick car.

I also was able to pickup his intake and a mono-blade to compliment the setup.

Anyways, you will see considerably more of me around here being I now need to really work out the details for this combo.

Summit Racing being close is nice to have....I would like it if their prices were better sometimes.

Not sure what issues you speak of but I put thousands of miles on it, including a trip to the east coast to run in hot rods top speed challenge with zero issues and driving it to and from the track running 9's on 17in drag radials.

I heard (like pretty much all of us FI guys) that you had a lot of bugs to work out is all. I know for a fact it ran like a raped date.

Nope. I put a ton of trouble free miles on that setup. I've run with a bunch of guys on the mfba, viper alley, 6-speedonline, ls1tech, chitownracing and hot rod magazine if you want to do some research on my cars reliability.

Wow!!! What kind of drag radials did you use and how did you hook with that much horsepower. I would love to be able to hook with just 600HP.

Yeah I liked that setup alot and would like to build something similar, well maybe one day. I really like the idea of small cubic inches and big boost. Later
