Link/idea is older then dirt. No it wont work.

 

No those things are totally gay. They claim they add "boost" by blowing X amount of CFM into your engine. They are not true superchargers, since they do not compress the air, and yeah they are total wastes of time. No power gains...

 

you might see a gain on a lil 3cyl geo but theres no way it would be able to flow enough for a v8. its basically like sticking a hair drier in your intake

 

A friend of mine put one of those on his moped. Instead of peaking at about 30, he jumped to like 45!
