I've been quiet....

I've been quiet lately since selling my twin turbo setup and LT1, but the new setup is getting closer..

http://teamprickracing.com/ssostyle

The turbo is a loaner until mine shows up, I paid on 12/19 and still haven't received anything but excuses..

The turbo shown is a large frame 88mm, it's actually Big Daddy's turbo that he ran last year..

The intercooler was supposed to be mounted under the dash, but it wouldn't fit, so we decided to stick it behind the passenger seat.. It's a little intrusive but what the hell

I ran out of fittings and 4" pipe- I should have more pics next weekend of the completed project.

Interesting.....

I guess you'll be getting a new hood for clearance and to get rid of the hole made for the old "up pipe"

Turbocharged 540 BigBlock .... in an F-body!!!

How much power do you need?

Your car is going to be one of those wheel standers that does the whole quarter mile on the rear tires, right?

You got *****

Neat setup!

Bill

thanks guys-

Jose, I ordered the turbo through Pro Turbo, from Precision.

Marc, there is a new hood on the car, it's just not painted yet so it's hard to see.

Bill, the 540 has gone on to a different car. The motor in my car is a small block. (380 cubic inch- 4.130 x 3.55)

the other car is shannon's and can be seen here: http://www.teamprickracing.com/95z The 540 will be procharged and can be seen here: http://www.teamprickracing.com/F3SC the first pictures compare an F3 to a D3

It will fit not all under the hood, but it will fit..

dobe, the green car is retired from power tours for now..

laterz

I thought about possibly trying to mount and air/water intercooler under the dash in the future, too bad it didn't work out for you. I guess those pipes will make a good armrest. The project looks like its coming along good, be sure to keep us updated.

The other car looks like it should be pretty badassed as well.
