Its almost done!!

http://www.bytehead.com/~dunk/6-29-04.html

I finally got my block back on the 18th this month, Had a kid born on the 19th, so I got 2 weeks off of work. I've been pounding on the car trying to get done. The exhaust is all done, as well as the intake. Gotta get a belt and a few hoses and I'm in business! Let me know what ya think

Bill

Nice work! Can't wait to see the results.

The intercooler wouldn't fit flipped around?

Well that was the original plan, however I had the outlet made off center, and when it showed up it was the wrong way off-center. I wanted to keep the hood latch too. It all worked out. If I ever want more intercooler I'll design it differently. I'll be welding the next one... I've been practicing on aluminum sheetmetal

sorry to hear about the IC. I thought I had made it right? Either way, it looks good and probably will be fast

Looking mean man.

The 90 degree rubber pieces connecting the pipes to the coolers; where did you get those? Do you think they have any with a 4"id?

Thanks, Mike.

Look up under cobra head elbows. The small ones I used are actually for remote filter locations for a 2 barrel carb. They only carry the 2.5 inch and 3 inch elbows. You can email them for larger ones.

I'll bet he's a tiny little guy... so he's going to be all good, no problems or anything?

Headers were TIG welded with a Lincoln 185Pro. Most of the downpipes I MIGed. I don't have a band saw, only a port-a-band, so my cuts aren't always perfectly square. It's easier to fill in small gaps with the MIG
