Intercooler Question...

First of all, let me state the fact that I don't know much about superchargers. So take it easy on me. My question is, where in the engine bay do you put the intercooler? Is there any custom fabrication involved in installing the intercooler? If you can post pictures of your setup, that would be awesome too. So far I have pretty much been an N/A guy, but I think that is about to change when it is time for a rebuild. Thanks.

From what I've seen in front of or under the radiator.

You usually want to put it where it will get the most air. So that's usually in front of the radiator.

If the intercooler is air-to-air the front is the absolute best place to put it. Alot of people worry about over heating because of the placement, but since F-Body's take air from under the car I would imagine they would be affected. You want as much airflow to hit the intercooler before it hits anything else. If it has to go through the radiator or condennsor then the air that hits it will already be fairly warm, not to mention the heat from the motor. This is why the stock intercoolers on GN's were kinda g@y.
