I know this is not idle cam for optimum power but I like the beat ground and blower whine combo.

Just a word of advise, don't choose a camshaft because you want it to sound a certain way at idle. A lot of the more popular blower cams have a rough idle as is, and will net you more power than a 306 will.

 

well it sounds damn nice.. no doubht about that.. what kind of #s is it making how much boost?

 

no doubt about that, car has been modded for a while, picked up the blower and wasn't going to tear into this motor to change the cam. lets just say that it was a nitrous motor so compression is a little high and the 306 is helping me bleed off a little boost until I can get the other motor built. at 11.2 to 1 it won't run forever.
