seriously, my goal was to build a cheap eagle 355, reuse my LE2's, my header kit and my t76. and shoot for 500rwhp.
Now, i have a lunati sledgehammer crank, wiseco pistons, just bought my trickflows to have them ported. I decided to go twins and am now at 383ci. I never planned on running meth but the more hp i want the more i look into it.
My 12 bolt luckily should suffice for my plans, but now i see a small cage in the future along with baer eradispeeds.
I dont know where the dollar limit ends now

Been there, I just wanted to go 11's, so I built a 383 LT4 with a s-trim charger. I went 11's on the first time, and like WTF, that was too easy, how hard would 9's be to get? $40k later I am still chasin 9's, but with a lot more mods.

My car started as a just replace pistons reuse stock crank and rods. Crank needed turned so I bought a forged, also bought new rods cause they were same price as reconditioning old rods. Then I said I'm going to do main studs. I read that if you do main studs that you should align hone. So I said if I'm going to align hone I might as well go splayed, So it never ends.
I started mods after 1 year on a 97ss. Now 38k+ later in "2009" I'm starting to slow. FI is very adictive. My car remains less dollars (20k_new +38k_mods) than a new Z06 or Viper, Porche even with all the mods. They say my 97ss Camaro is only worth 8k, but, I don't want what they drive (their's is no fun there). I've learned alot on my trek, but find less people I can talk tech to @ the meets (sad), and are usually shiners/ waxers/ key_turners. Most people these days look @ cars as a necessary piece of transportation and see little value in performance. People around here always by foreign brands. The neighbors with the Porche, B_mers (no mods) don't want to talk to me, and, I'm all right with that. Now, I usually wear my 97ss attitude... (you want some of this???), and, they always back down.
