Question I need some help with my turbo

I Just bought a brand new turbo system for my 94 camaro and I can set the turbo from 5-15 psi but I dont know what a stock lt1 can handle or how much boost I can run because of the high compression of the lt1. So if there is a way to lower my compression or something so I can run like 12 pounds or more of boost because my turbo can support up to 900 hp and I wanna use as much of it as I can. And if I can't do that stock what should I get so I can.
So if someone could help me out it would be a big help, so I don't end up blowing my engine sky high

id start with it on the dyno to dyno tune it, as long as you have injectors and a fuel pump start with the timing around 15...id start with about 4 pounds...work your way to 7 or so, thats about all i bet it will handle for a decent amount of time...but it should make some good numbers....just remember it cant hurt to take out alittle extra timing, and always make sure you have good fuel 93+

You can't lower compression like a dial switch, it takes a complete engine rebuild with different pistons, etc to lower compression enough to run full boost out of a turbo setup such as you are describing.

As mentioned above, 7 lbs would probably be as much as it would take.

OK so if I put heads with 76cc combustion chambers would that lower the comperssion? and I don't know much about pistons so where should I get them and what ones should I use? and would I need a diffrent crank cause I'm going to be runnin about 600 hp and the stock crank is only good to like 450 isn't it? but I can't figure where to buy this stuff from so if you could help me out it would be much appriciated
