How much boost can my setup handle?
Lisa,
Can you explain your thoughts on this? Obviously you have pressure loss through even the most efficient core and added weight/complexity - But if an IC is 70% efficient then you are taking say 0.7 X 200F = 140F out of the air before you spray.
Is 140F reduction worth a typical ~1-3psi loss? Or just run the compressor at a high efficiency and spray 'more' fuel/meth?
Thanks,
Scott.

Agree about IC vs meth inj on a streetcar, is an easy choice if you run on gas, E85 would be another thing, If you stay araound 10-12 psi on a 9,0 comp engine there shouldnt be need for meth if you runníng E85.
I've done some testing on my car with and without the intercooler. It appears to become a pretty big restriction at the higher airflow ranges. I would guess at about 500rwhp it becomes a pretty big restriction. After speaking with the guy at SDCE he said the 4 inch FMIC that everybody uses on their fbody doesn't have enough crossectional area. He recommended an up flow intercooler and said it would flow much better. If I raced alot I would ditch the intercooler altogether and up the meth.
