Im planning on getting my hotside parts coated.I talked to a couple places locally and I checked out there work on a buddies headers and he was saying that they scratch pretty easy. Is that true across the board or is there different types?

I thought someone offered a lifetime warranty against chipping etc...

 

The only time i've ever seen ceramic coating scratch easily is prior to heat cycling. Once that is done it is a royal pain to even grind off.
