How do I check my blow off valves` for leaks

Hey guys, I'm having a problem with my car not building boost. The boost gauge stays in the vacum. Come close to 0 but wont build boost. I have 2 blow off valves. One comming off each side of the intercooler.

I pulled my intake pipe off and at idle I feel boost pressure comming from the blower. Once I rev the car up it go's away. When it comes back down I feel it again... I'm new to this and dont know to much on how the b-valves work. What should I look for to see which one is working. I working on my car by myself so I cant have someone rev the car for me and see if I can feel either one leaking... Any help would greatly be appreciated

Oh BTW, all my connections are good from the blower to the intake! I checked them like 10 times to make sure I didnt have any leaks!

Why do you have 2 blowoff valves? Are you sure you have them connected right? They should open when intake pressure becomes greater than manifold pressure, so you could be creating those conditions with the intake disconnected and your hand over it.

They are hooked up right. I just noticed that I didnt have any boost when I took it for a ride. Before when I idle I could rev it up and I would hear the blow off valve go off. Now it doesnt do it anymore. Thats when I took the intake tube off and felt to see if boost was comming trough at idle. I feel the air pressure at idle and when I rev it up it goes away..... I guess I will replace them with mone big one. I had the 2 because I wanted more boost and the one wouldnt support it so I added another one on that was just sitting around. I was seeing 14psi..

What kinds BOV are you using? Just about any BOV should be able to support 14psi...

And the only thing thats gonna open the blow off valve when its working properly is manifold vacum.

You should do a leak down test and check your boost gauge too.

on my sts kit i had to tap into a vacuum line on the pass side of the engine bay (would have done it diff if i had known better) and one of the "t" fittings cracked at all of a sudden my gauge would sit at 0 all the time untill i cought boost so check your lines you might be having the reverse problem i had
