honest fuel milage

so what's all the boosted guys getting? honestly, how much of your driving is wide open? Mine is getting around 15 mpg with 30#ers and a fmu, with alot of wide open driving, what injectors and are you running? fmu? blown or turbo? I want to mimic the best milage, its starting to effect my driving. 4.19 for a gallon of 93 octane, no corn.

well, not really sure.

Put in 3 gallons yesterday, drove 40 miles, and was down to about 1/4 tank from the 1/2 tank i was at.

Doesnt give ya any numbers, but, i'd say thats about 15MPG.

I got on it 4 times in that period, and i have 60# injectors.

Cruises still a good 25mpg on the highway - Honestly. But that is with stock gears, a baby cam, and a standalone computer tuned leaner than 14.7 at cruise.

While boosting - prob 3mpg.

I can get 19 MPG if highway driving with little to no boost being used, however if in town driving or a bit of WOT then I usually see about 10 MPG.

i swear to this... i was getting 28mpg on the high way with a stock LT1 with the sts kit and 4.11 rear end gears. i love 6th gear.... basically i just gradually got up to 75mph and put it in 6th and kept it there. it got this average on a multiple 2hr trips between ft hood and ft worth (pretty much every weekend from june to october). in the city i got about 18mpg depending on if i was using 6th gear at 40 or not.

last september while the compression was still good on my motor, I was getting 18mpg through the 2800 Vigilante and 3.73 gears. The key seems to be having a cam with low overlap, such as a stock cam...oh, and keeping your gas pedal off the floor mat...

About 15 to 17 mpg on highway and around 10 mpg around town. I am running 3.42 gears which helps. Mpg goes into the toilet if I start getting into boost.
