here's one 4 u boost junkies
we recently pulled a 638 c.i. fulton nitrous motor out of my pro-mod in favor of a steve petty motor built around a procharger F3.
well i finally got to test it yesterday. right off the trailer she went a 4.51@ 161. with a little tuning by two time NMRA world champion chris tuten she laid down a 4.49. next run didn't get a time but it was a beauty. nice and clean. chris thought it carried the wheels out 80'.
the day was going so good we decided to change pulley combos.
with the track fading fast at dusk chris pulled some timing out and i was able to squeeze out a 4.39 but it cut out near the end of the run. turns out we sheared all the bolts off the bottom pulley.
23 lbs of boost was data logged.
