Question Help Procharger Question

I have an 02 SS and I am in the process of buying a procharger kit and I was told I need to buy a new harmonic balancer, is this true? If so, why? I plan on running 8lbs - 10lbs of boost.

Re: Help Procharger Question

If you want to do the kit right and go with the 8 rib drive system, the yes, you need to change your balancer. If you want to take the cheap way out (which you'll regret later on down the road), then you can keep the factory balancer and just run the 6 rib drive system.

I don't think that part number is going to help him much considering he has an LS1. The correct ATI part number is 917242
