im changing over from a NA + N2O setup to a boost setup over the winter .. just doin some research to learn more ...

currently i got 300+ cfm flowing LT4s with 52cc chambers which im selling on the FS forum ...

My goals: streetable 550 rwhp motor, spinning to 6500 tops, and able to handle a bit of nitrous for when im not sure if 550 will be enough (100 shot tops)

My plans: budget 355, forged crank, forged dish pistons ...i was thinking abuot a set of untouched AFRs ... but not sure which ones .. 12-15 psi boost out of my S-trim .. and a bit of nitrous for my IC and a bit for my motor

My questions:
  • which heads? AFR 190, 195, 210 ? what are the combustion chamber sizes for each one
  • Which pistons, what size dish etc
  • what compression (thinking 8.5)
  • which cam .. thinking a 224/236 114 (would like to pass emissions)
  • which cooler .. A/A or A/W ?
  • will my S-trim be adequate for my goals ? can i spin it up that high ?
  • run FMU ? or get 50# injectors and tune ?
  • keep my 58mm TB? or sell it and run a 48mm since im goin with boost?

thanx
