Help on choosing pulley size and reading/dealing with a compressor map...

I want to pulley my T-Trim to get every last drop of performance out of it. I don't really know how to go about deciding this, but I do know that when I looked at the compressor map I couldn't figure out exactly what it's telling me. What pulley combo do I want? I do not know the current pulley combo, but I know that I have a 7" crank pulley that came off of the car for a different one to lower the boost. I'll be able to measure the current ones in a couple days. I plan on shifting somewhere between 6500-7000 based on the cam choice, and the motor is a 355.

Than pulley it up so it reaches max impeller speed a few hundred rpm before redline. (IMHO).

I think it would be about a 7in crank and 2.75blower pulleys.

That's kinda what I figured, and this is where my lack of knowledge in this department comes in. I was looking at the compressor map and according to it, the T-trim makes it's max cfm (1200) just below 50,000 rpm, whereas it's max rpm is 55,000. Why would I want to max out the blower like that, to give me more area under the curve? Also, how does psi play into all of this? Right now I'm pushing quite a bit of pressure through it, but not getting near the power it (supposedly) should be making with this much boost.

I just want to mention that your TH400 and 12bolt may be sapping alot of the power you feel you are "missing" Especially if you have a high stall. The TH400 isn't a model for efficency, but is a very tuff piece. That being said, if you are making alot of boost already and you arent seeing a ton of power I would look at other areas instead of hitting it with a bigger hammer. Like what are your IAT's? Is your intercooler big enough? I just dont think more boost is always the answer. You may also need to be more specific about your combo for the real experts here.

The motor is getting refreshed over the winter, very serious work is being done to the heads and also getting a very serious cam. I know the intercooler isn't helping me, I don't have one! I know this is killing the power somewhat, but the car didn't come with one. I'm going to experiment with water/alky injection until the funds allow for a full blown air/water intercooler setup, in addition to running race gas. Either way, I'm not really concerned about the diagnosing the current situation. I'm mainly curious how I should pulley my blower so that it's putting out as much air as possible when the time comes, and what I'm really curious about is how to properly read/use the compressor maps.

And yes, I know the drivetrain isn't excellent for getting the power to the ground, but the dyno numbers I think are low were made when a M6 was in the car. And I have a feeling my 1/4 performance is no where near what it should be for the amount of stuff in my engine.
