Has anyone fabbed up a solid intake tube for VORTECH S-trim?

maybe 4" would be the way to go, except you would probably have to put the MAF on the pressure side. Does it make any difference to put the MAF on the pressure side performance wise

Hey EngineerMike, Don't knock the PVC pipe till you have tried it. Have you ever looked inside PVC, It's slicker than anything else you will see out there. The proof is that it works. 96Z28/93TA, The Maf is on the inlet side.

I'm just saying that I have multiple mandrel bends going multiple directions in a very short space for everything to fit properly with clearance for the steering U-joint and the steering rack. So I doubt this can be done "right" with PVC. But I guess that depends on what your definition of "right" is. Many people are happy with their PVC intakes, but I wanted something better.

I know that PVC is slick on the inside, but the wall is thicker, so the ID is smaller than exhaust-style tubing.
