has anyone ever bought ATI products from lonnie pavtis

i wanted to buy a new ATI p1sc kit from him, heres the deal. he told me he would pulley it down from 8 to 6 psi, which is real cool thats all the boost i wanted to run. after talkin to him for a few more minutes he told me he would not accept pay pal or any credit card. NOW DOESNT he own a performance shop. how do you not accept credit cards! he said the for the amount of money he makes on the kit it is not worth it because the credit card company takes like half, now i was under the impresion the company only took like 3% of gross profit. help me out he seems like a nice guy and i want to buy from him, he is relatively close to my area and that is all good but it seemed a little fishey that he wouldnt accept a card. ANY INFO ON HIM WOULD HELP. he has good prices also.

Lonnie is a good guy, and his advice and experience is second to none. I bought from him, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

I sent him a certified check.

good luck!

Although I've never purchased anything from him I've nothing but great things about him. I heard he's the best on price and knowlege. I imagaine the credit card company charges a fee on the total charge...3% on a $3500 transaction would be $105.

I agree with Brady,
I have bought two Pro Charger kits from him, and as Brady mentioned his tech support is first rate.

Definately a great guy to deal with.

I already recommend lonnie in another post to you. I have dealt with him many times in the past. His Tech Service is UNMATCHED. I sent him a check too...
IMHO Lonnie is the BEST ATI Dealer/Distributor around.

He does not deal with credit cards cuz credit card compaines do take a percentage. So by him not taking using credit cards its saving Both of you guys some money in the long run.

thanks for the input guys, really appreciate it, i was never doubting him, just found it weird that he wouldnt take the card. when i was talking to him he told me that WE as people that bought from him could call his house anytime to ask questions. i found that to be very acceptsional. thanks just wanted to double check.

My dad has a credit card machine for his liquor store, and his deal is something like 2% on all transactions, PLUS .30 cents PER transaction, on top of a $40.00 a month "usage" fee on the machine. Of course, they also make you sign a 1 year minimum contract too.

It really really adds up.

I agree that not being able to pay with a credit card is a pain in the ***, esp when you're in a hurry to get the order submitted and on the way. However, if he did take credit cards, his prices would have to go up. So, I'll gladly do a bit of extra leg work getting a money order together.

Just placed my first order with him this weekend.
From what I've read after doing a search on his name on this board, he has many many happy customers, and a fantastic reputation for first rate customer service. Wish I would have heard about this guy a long time ago!

I'm not worried.

Can you e-mail or PM me on the price that he gave you? I'm going that route in a month or so. Thx.
