Has anyone changed the location of there Twin Intercoolers

Just wondering if anyone has mounted the intercoolers in a different configuration to allow for less travel as well use of solid tubing through the entire kit. We arte just finishing up the set-up of a D-1 w/twins on my cousins TA and well I was just thinking there may be a better way to mount the coolers ...... If you have any pics or info it would be great

Sure it's easy to do solid tubing. I would do the maf up top and something similar to the incon system's tubing. IMO the twins are not enough intercooler for a d1x.

Mount the intercoolers right under the dampner side by side or some way to shorten the tubing as the passenger side intercooler is the major problem as it is causing alot more tubing. Possibly just the moving of that single intercooler to in front of the rad or somewhere closer to the other style. (so one in front of the tire and the other somewhere closer)

Thumbs up

Thanks Steven,

We went back to a D-1SC on Perry's car, sold the D-1x. I think we will have to spend some time and come up with an interesting configuration
