Hard Intakes Vortech

Just looking for some ideas.

Heres what I whipped up over the weekend.

Intake

I've used the stock 90 elbow to the blower, down to the edge of the fenderwell, then used the mid 6 inches of the vortech pipe so that I wouldn't need to tap for the 3/4 bypass line.

Filter is in the fenderwell just like vortech ask for, I used the stock airdam to feed the filter fresh air just like it does the radiator. (no wacky scoops)

BTW.

all 3.5 inch even the vortech stuff.

I'll probally powdercoat it in black or aniodized black if I decide I like it.

Sorry for the picture quality. Its some cheezy digital from wal-mart

looks good, i dont have a front swaybar, so i have 1 solid intake piece and its bracketed to the swaybar mounting point and the filter sits right besides the airdam and slightly higher than the airdam...ive scraped it once though

That looks really similar to mine. I fab'd a hard 3.5" pipe that only replaces the dryer duct. It picked up maybe .5 psi. However, if I remove the whole pipe and filter, it gains 1.5 psi more.
