Greddy BOV + Vortech Supercharger kit = whoosh sound?

Greddy BOV + Vortech Supercharger kit = whoosh sound?
I was driving around the other day and this LT1 camaro pulls up next to me then revs his engine and I hear the sound of a BOV but a little weaker coming from his car. He said that he put on a Greddy BOV where his boost by pass was suppose to be on his vortech S-trim. Is that possible?
