Got some decent results finally

I took it out after playing with it a little more. Honestly I spend more time on a single other persons car as far as tuning in one day as i do in a month on mine.

Anyway

9lbs of boost
2 bar map sensor
6:1 FMU
T-Rex pump
30lbs SVO
Spark control is coming from original computer under boost
Alcohol injection (I didn't have it on though)
3.23 Gear
2800 Vigilante
CC304 Cam

Datamaster reported 490RWHP 577Ftlbs torque

in one test 28-77mph in 5.2seconds when i left it in second (automatic) and average acceleration during this period was .430 G's and wheel spin didn't stop until 43mph.

I'm still having some spark blowout (?) issues but the car is completely driveable. Or something, i'm lost it has two spots in the powerband where it serously looses 50hp and i've been fighting it since i finished putting the blower on. Everything looks good in the AFR and the retard isn't more than 1.1 degree here

My favorite thing about the car is that it gets good gas mileage, pulls on the order of 18inches of vaccum, and has torque to tear the tires up at a fast roll.

Wow! Sounds like its working great. I've been waiting for an update from you. I was following it from the beginning. Do you have a wideband to get an idea of how rich/lean its running? How accurate are the datamaster estimates? I would presume if there is a weight input, if that is correct then it should be very close. Keep us updated!

I see you're in Fayetteville. You ever hit up the track there at all?

If you ever need tuning help with that car, check out www.carolinaautomasters.com
He's located in Durham. Really good PCM tuner, probably one of the best on the east coast.

How are you using the two bar map? Did you just rescale the PCM? I'm dying to try it on my 96.

Copy and paste it. .You'll need that crappy quick time

How does this compare to you guys car as far as acceleration? I can't wait for some slicks to see how it will run

The funny thing is the run before this one the ALDL connector for the datalogger fell out as soon as I hit the gas.

It's faster then mine, that's for sure. Now do you have any vids of the open hood just slowly revving? I'm also interested in the final results. Last I saw you were ready with the intake manifold, but that was it... pics!

Whats insane is how much TQ you're putting out to the wheels. I dont know the full specs of the setup, but if you're getting the miles per gallon you list in your sig with that setup, firstly that's awesome, and second you must not get on it much

well its basically a stock cammed motor with a big blower on it. I still have yet to change pulleys.

Believe it or not its quite a bit faster with the alcohol on.

I bet. I wonder what the actual temps drop to - and also just as badly - wonder how much it tweaks your stoic...

Yeah. Turbo'sized tq numbers. How well does the Roots spool? It's supposed to be nearly instantaneous, so I figure it'd hit 9psi in no time.

Stock internals on that bad boy?
